The first idea was about the process which children and adults can understand and manage their emotions, set and achieve positive goals and show empathy for others.
 The second one was that she mentioned some tips to establish relationships with students, the tips that were very interesting:
·         Incorporate humor into lessons.

Strategies for RECESS in Schools

Strategies for RECESS in Schools

Recess helps students to achieve the recommended minutes of physical activity that can improve strength and endurance; enhance academic achievement; and increase self-esteem for children and adolescents.
 My partner, Jenan, and I have designed a Bridge Action Plan that may explain the strategies of recess in school to make it more healthy and benefit.

What is the TPACK Framework?

TPACK stands for Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge. It is a theory that was developed to explain the set of knowledge that teachers need to teach their students a subject, teach effectively, and use technology.

How Can TPACK Be Used in the Classroom?

Keeping technology as a separate knowledge set causes problems, but when we understand the framework of TPACK, we can integrate technology into the content and pedagogy of our classrooms. The integration will help our students learn more effectively. . The simplest idea at play in TPACK is that a person who is a world-renowned expert in a subject might not be a great teacher because they lack the pedagogical knowledge to make the subject accessible and understandable. To be a great teacher, we have to combine our knowledge of the subject with our knowledge of how to teach. With the increasing focus on technology, we need to also learn how to combine technology with our content and pedagogy to create an effective learning environment.

detoxification

Detoxification

Detoxification or detoxication (detox for short) is the physiological or medicinal removal of toxic substances from a living organism, including the human body, which is mainly carried out by the liver.

HOW DOES DETOXIFICATION WORK?

Basically, detoxification means cleansing the blood. This is done by removing impurities from the blood in the liver, where toxins are processed for elimination. The body also eliminates toxins through the kidneys, intestines, lungs, lymphatic system, and skin. However, when these systems are compromised, impurities aren't properly filtered and the body is adversely affected.
A detox program can help the body's natural cleansing process by:

  1. Resting the organs through fasting;
  2. Stimulating the liver to drive toxins from the body;
  3. Promoting elimination through the intestines, kidneys, and skin;
  4. Improving circulation of the blood; and
  5. Refueling the body with healthy nutrients.
hOW IF YOU NEED TO DETOXIFY?
Bennett suggests that everyone should detox at least once a year. However, Bennett cautions against detoxing for nursing mothers, children, and patients with chronic degenerative diseases, cancer or tuberculosis. Consult your healthcare practitioner if you have questions about whether detoxing is right for you.
Today, with more toxins in the environment than ever, "it's critical to detox," says Linda Page, N.D., Ph.D., the author of Detoxification: Programs to Cleanse, Purify and Renew. Page recommends detoxing for symptoms such as:
  • Unexplained fatigue
  • Sluggish elimination
  • Irritated skin
  • Allergies
  • Low-grade infection
  • Puffy eyes or bags under the eyes
  • Bloating
  • Menstrual problems
  • Mental confusion

water

Water

Most of us face many problems just because he or she do not drink enough water, some are headache, dryness in the skin, and pain in the kidneys.
Your body uses water in all its cells, organs, and tissues to help regulate its temperature and maintain other bodily functions. Because your body loses water through breathing, sweating, and digestion, it's important to re hydrate by drinking fluids and eating foods that contain water

  • so water delivers oxygen throughout the body
  • its boosts skin health and beauty
  • it regulate body temperature
  • the digestive system depends on it it prevent kidney damage

and many more
can you imagine how will your body work better if we drink more water than we usually do?

self-love isn't selfish

Self Love isn't Selfish

Self –love is never selfish, it is about being aware that loving oneself is also about loving others. It is offering an indirect love, in a way that you fulfill it within yourself first. The kind that is genuine, pure and true and is openly available for you. It is magical, since you created it for your own good, and for the advantage of those you wish to be its benefactors.
Self-love is about waking up every morning with a well-rested heart, wearing an elegant outfit and impressing yourself in front of the mirror. Self-love is that beautiful courage noticed by others as a form of inspiration. It’s that endless laughter at every silly and awkward thing. Self-love is just being happy; happy with yourself, for yourself and for the happiness of others. It is about liking yourself without expecting other people to like you. It is an act of setting a standard for yourself, to be an inspiration to others, and to trigger happiness for others.
Self-love is about fulfilling the dreams you have for yourself, the goals you ought to achieve – that your beautiful personality may never go in vain nor perish. It is about building the self you lost when you once loved, it is about preparing yourself to be whole and undivided when the right kind of love makes its way to you.
so Self-love is not selfish; in fact it is enriched with uptight caring for others. It is a unique way of saying “hey, I would like to love myself first, so I can love you more.” It’s that sweet reminder that loving is not limited to partners, and that loving is the fruit of respecting oneself.

Overprotective parenting style

Overprotective parenting style
When the parent is fearful of many things, the child becomes overly scared as well.

The overprotective parent wants to protect their children from harm, hurt and pain, unhappiness, bad experiences and rejection, hurt feelings, failure and disappointments. overprotective parents are fearful of everything when it comes to their children and expect bad things to happen. Parents are definitely not “bad” and they may love their children very much. They are fearful their child will grow up to be destructive or uncontrollable.
This parenting style has a negative side on the children for example :s are too high or unreasonable, a child will lie to avoid getting in trouble.
  • When the parent is fearful of many things, the child becomes overly scared as well. Normal, healthy risk-taking is discouraged and children grow up to be teenagers who take risks that come with a much higher price than a bruised knee or ego if things go wrong.
  • Kids experience a reward/punishment system for their behavior and can grow up to be adults who are materialistic and manipulative. They don’t do the right thing just because it is the right thing to do.
  • Finally, and most importantly, parents may not be able to communicate with their children as they mature. Parents have demanded compliance, not communication, which again leads to more lying.

so over protective parent are not a good character that parent should be. they should not go to extremes. They should always be in middle.
